"Sleep until 13:00" isn't automatic

Most budget hotels here check out at 10–11am. A 13:00 lie-in means either a hotel with a noon checkout plus a paid late-checkout add-on, or phoning ahead to confirm before you book. Don't assume — confirm the checkout time in writing.
